Croatia: Trogir and Dubrovnik
When considering a sailing getaway in the Mediterranean, Croatia often springs to mind. Picture the Adriatic Sea, adorned with secluded coves and bays and filled with crystal-clear waters. Envision yourself aboard a sailing yacht, gliding over the waves, surrounded by exquisite natural beauty. As you drop the anchor, leaning over the railings reveals a mesmerizing sight — you can see the bottom! It's time for a refreshing swim followed by basking in the sun on a picturesque beach.
Opt for the shoulder seasons in spring and fall if you prefer hassle-free docking and dining experiences. Conversely, if water activities, vibrant nightlife, and bustling streets are your cup of tea, the summer months are ideal for you.
Useful tips
And here's some exciting news: the start of the Mediterranean sailing season is just around the corner! While the water may not be warm yet, you can anticipate delightful sunny days without the usual hustle and bustle of summer tourists. Although Croatia's official sailing season kicks off in mid-March, the optimal time for sailing depends on your vacation preferences.

Greece: Athens
Greece's Mediterranean climate, characterized by warm summers and stunning natural landscapes, makes it one of the most popular destinations for sailing. Imagine strolling through quaint Greek fishing towns, discovering historical sites, and swimming in crystal-clear waters along sandy shores.
Tourist crowds are expected to peak in July and August, but this time is also the best for swimming as the water has warmed up the most. Also don’t forget to embrace the lively atmosphere of a hot summer evening while savoring local delights at portside cafes.
Useful tips
Sailing season in Greece mirrors that of Croatia, spanning from mid-March to early November. Whether opting for the bustling summer months or the serene shoulder season, your charter yacht promises a tranquil escape throughout your journey.

Spain: Mallorca
One more highly sought-after Mediterranean location that stands out among the best sailing destinations is Mallorca, Spain. The Balearic Islands provide ideal sailing conditions and stunning landscapes at every corner.
Much like Greece and Croatia, the high season for sailing in Spain falls between June and August. While these months can get crowded, they promise warm waters, delightful weather, and excellent sailing conditions. Opting for the shoulder seasons (April, May, September, and October) might offer a more tranquil vacation experience. During these months, finding docking spots is easier, and you can still relish sunny skies and pleasant temperatures.
Useful tips
The summers here are lengthy, hot, and sunny, with crystal-clear warm waters and nature that rivals other Mediterranean spots in beauty. The home base of Navigare Yachting is situated in Palma de Mallorca, offering a prime starting point for exploring the exquisite Balearic Sea.

Best selection in Spain

This year Navigare's Mallorca fleet will introduce two new luxurious yachts, both being sailing catamarans from renowned brands Bali Catamarans and Fountaine Pajot.

Altogether, the Mallorca hub boasts 17 yachts, including sailing catamarans and sailboats of various sizes and price ranges. The catamarans span from 39 to 52 feet, while the monohulls range from 44 to 53 feet, ensuring there's a vessel to suit your group size and budget.
