Seychelles
The Seychelles is an archipelago of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean, renowned for its stunning natural beauty, pristine beaches, and rich marine life.
The islands feature granite boulders, lush tropical forests, and vibrant coral reefs, making it a paradise for sailors and nature enthusiasts. Key islands include Mahé, La Digue, Praslin, and Curieuse, each offering unique attractions such as the Vallée de Mai Nature Reserve and Anse Source d'Argent beach.

The best time to sail in Seychelles is from October to May when the weather is warm and the seas are relatively calm. The northwest trade winds during this period are generally light to moderate, making for pleasant sailing conditions.
From June to September, the southeast trade winds prevail, bringing stronger winds and rougher seas, which can be more challenging for sailing. This period also coincides with the cooler and drier season. Tides and currents are generally mild, but it is important to be aware of local conditions and forecasts.
Mahé, the largest island of the Seychelles and home to the capital city of Victoria, serves as the starting point for this sailing itinerary. The island is accessible via Seychelles International Airport, located about 10 kilometers from the main marina, and can be reached in approximately 20 minutes by car.

The total length of the route is about 80 nautical miles.
